We want an internet based on Gratitude not Greed.

We want an internet based on Gratitude not Greed.

There are many reasons why we should use the word gratitude in all aspects of our lives, but as far as the internet and blockchain is concerned, Gratitude is the opposite of Greed, and internet technology desperately needs this shift if we want to avoid extinction by corrupt/greedy technology or technological ideologies.
In order for our species to fix the damage it has done to the biosphere, each of us need to change our greedy behavior to a higher and more powerful creative vibration. In other words, we have to adopt gratitude as the new attitude.
We imagined one day in the near future, users all over the world, sending gratitude tokens to humans they appreciate or want to support.
To quote from a later chapter, answering the question Why gratitude? :
"Because greed has ran its course, the caterpillars have ate enough and it's time to transform, for tomorrow... we spread our wings and fly." - Lucian Apetrei
You are reading this because one by one, we are all becoming the agents of change that are collectively transforming the internet from a caterpillar into a butterfly and we're using GRAT token to fuel this journey.
Gratitude is not just any word, it's a very high frequency state of being, and if we use it in our initiatives it has the power to enlighten humanity and create a space of collaboration, joy and unconditional love, instead of competition, survival and greed.
We can empower each other sending these tokens to one another. If everything we do online is powered by Gratitude, the world will see progress like no other time in history. The internet will become decentralized and our way of evaluating and distributing value will change: from survival and hoarding to a shared economy and the internet of things. We will no longer exist just to survive, or to compete, we will exist to create and discover. We will know more joy and less fear.
One of my favorite humans once said:
"There is nothing in a caterpillar that tells you it's going to be a butterfly." - R. Buckminster Fuller
Bucky was a brilliant architect, systems theorist, author, designer, inventor and futurist.
And it's not randomly that I bring him up early on. You see, one of the most important mathematical discoveries he gifted to our species is called Vector Equilibrium
"The vector equilibrium is the zero starting point for happenings or nonhappenings: it is the empty theater and empty circus and empty Universe ready to accommodate any act and any audience".
More about it here.
Our species is at a similar starting point, a crossroads where we can choose to either take responsibility and evolve past greed, or stick with it and go extinct.
